At Music in Peebles, we are committed to making top-quality, live chamber music accessible to all in our community. However, we recognise that some older people may not have the opportunity, or may no longer be able, to attend our live public concerts. We have therefore introduced care home concerts, for which our visiting musicians take music to people who may not otherwise be able to hear it.
These concerts prove immensely popular with care home residents and their carers and relatives, and provide truly joyous occasions for all involved – including the musicians who invariably find these concerts rewarding and moving.
