Patron’s Concert

Each year the Music in Peebles season at the Eastgate Theatre comes to an end with our patron, international violinist Gina McCormack, brings her selection of young up-and-coming musicians to Peebles.

In 2024 she introduced Nomad, all students of hers from the Royal Northern College of Music, who created a magical evening of folklore, myth and music in The Witching Hour.

And last year she brought us three “outstandingly good” musicians from each of the main London music colleges for “an unashamedly romantic evening” of Mozart, Rebecca Clark, Schumann and Rachmaninov.
