The CATIL Quintet is an emerging London-based wind ensemble, bringing together five musicians from the UK, France and Hong Kong, all alumni of the Guildhall School of Music and Drama.
Winners of the Tunnell Trust Award 2026, and semi-finalists in the Royal Overseas League annual music competition, the Quintet is driven by a shared passion for chamber music and a commitment to accessibility, seeking to act as a bridge between the music and the audience.
CATIL are recipients of several accolades, including the Guildhall Oboe and Bassoon Prize and the Guildhall Needlemakers Woodwind Prize. Concert venues have included LSO St Luke’s, the Guildhall Chamber Festival and Guildhall Chamber at Six series.
Their programme includes works by Jean Françaix, Thea Musgrave, Hindemith and Ravel.
