In collaboration with local schools, we invite musicians to provide workshops for students. These make live music more accessible to young people, encourage them to play alongside professional musicians and give them some practical insights into music-making.
The workshops have proved to be both successful and inspiring for young musicians. High School and other music students receive free tickets to Music in Peebles concerts.
We are always keen to hear from local schools, teachers, parents or school students with suggestions for future music workshops; we will try to build these into our future plans.
