At Music in Peebles, we are committed to making top-quality, live chamber music accessible to the whole community. But we recognise that some older people may not have the opportunity, or may no longer be able, to attend our live public concerts. So we have introduced care home and hospital concerts, when our visiting musicians take music to people who may not otherwise be able to hear it.
These concerts prove immensely popular with care home residents, their carers and relatives, and with patients in hospital, often for far too long, and provide truly joyous occasions for all involved, including the musicians who invariably find these concerts rewarding and moving.
