The Patron’s Concerts have been highlights of the last two seasons, introducing our audience to some outstandingly talented young musicians, hand-picked for us by Gina McCormack.

Appearances at these concerts have already led to follow-up engagements with Music in Peebles, including flautist Hannah Foster's starring role with the Bach Ensemble of Edinburgh last season and, of course, the Kowalski-Reyes Duo in our January 2021 concert.

Gina has again been on the lookout for exceptional talent to present in this season’s Young Musicians’ Showcase, and the results of her search will be eagerly anticipated!

Check the website nearer the time for further details.

Gina McCormack is one of the UK’s leading violinists. Since May 2019, she has been First Violin with the world-renowned Brodsky Quartet and is also a highly respected teacher, holding positions at both the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland and the Royal Northern College of Music.

With Gina will be her regular duo partner, Nigel Clayton who, in addition to his career as soloist, accompanist and chamber musician, is Professor of Piano at the Royal College of Music and Visiting Professor at the North East of Scotland Music School.

The programme for this concert will be announced nearer the time. Keep checking for updates!
